Giving Charity Every Day

Learning objective: To give sadaqah daily

Place your sadaqah jar in a visible place

Roll the dice and count out the corresponding number of coins to be placed in the sadaqah jar. Depending on the child's ability, the activity can be extended to include addition of coins from two die rolls or modified to help learning the coin values.
Put the activity on a reward chart for the month and enjoy taking sadaqah every day!

Help to instill the theme for the month, "Allah loves those who do good" Holy Qur'an 2:185

Can be used by either writing each good deed on some brown paper drawn into the shape of a date or simply sticking a picture of one as a reward for every good deed done.

Suggestions for good deeds can be found here: Good deeds

A mother's prayer: O Allah, give my child a caring and sensitive heart. Help him to be honourable in his actions and attitudes and to be generously responsive to the needs of others. O Allah make him an example to others of what it means to follow You.
